Case study

Ridgemore

I developed Ridgemore’s new website to give its services a clearer structure and make it easier for visitors to get in touch.

We worked through the design first, then I built the site and handled the launch.

Overview

Making the information easier to find.

The project brought together service pages, company information, a gallery, FAQs and contact options. The aim was to help visitors understand what Ridgemore does, see its work and find a useful next step.

We started with wireframes to agree where the information should sit. Reviews, the company’s process and service information were given clear places in the layout, rather than being left for visitors to piece together.

During the design stage, we worked through the homepage options and refined the colours to sit more closely with the existing logo. Once the layouts were agreed, I carried out the development and added the supplied content.

Project highlights

Pages a consistent layout across the services.
Chat call, WhatsApp and quote links available across the site.
Forms spam screening added to the contact form.
Edit admin access for the team to make updates.

The details

More than one way to get in touch.

Contact options were a practical part of the build. I added WhatsApp to the header and built a floating “Need help?” panel with call, WhatsApp and quote options.

This also gave us somewhere to include an additional phone number without overcrowding the main navigation. The number appears in the footer too, so it is available across the website.

After launch, I added spam protection to the enquiry form and linked the review profile from the footer. I also set up admin access so the team could make its own content updates.

Ready for the team to use and update.

The new website went live in September 2026. It gives Ridgemore a consistent way to present its services and several clear routes for visitors to make an enquiry.

I stayed involved after launch to work through feedback and make the smaller adjustments that come from using a new website day to day.

The approach

  1. Agree the structure We worked through wireframes, homepage options and consistent service page layouts.
  2. Develop the site I built the agreed design and added the supplied content.
  3. Make contact straightforward I added the floating help panel, WhatsApp access and quote options.
  4. Support the launch I worked through feedback, added enquiry spam protection and provided admin access.
