Web Design

A website that feels like your business.

I design websites for businesses that want to explain what they do clearly and make it easy for people to get in touch.

We’ll work through the pages, content and layout together, so the finished design feels right for you and the people using it.

First, I get to know your business.

Before I start designing, I want to understand what you do, who you work with and what you need from your website. If you already have a site, we can look at what’s useful and what’s getting in the way.

From there, I’ll plan the pages and put together designs for you to review. I’ll explain my thinking, listen to your feedback and make sure we agree on the direction before moving into development.

  1. Talk it through We discuss your business, your visitors and what you want the website to do.
  2. Plan and design I organise the content and design the key pages around it.
  3. Review together You have time to look through the designs and share your feedback.
  4. Build in WordPress Once the design is agreed, I can turn it into a website you can manage.

What I consider in the design.

  • A design for your business

I work with your content and the character of your business to give the website a clear, consistent look.

  • Different screen sizes

I plan how the pages will work on phones, tablets and larger screens, including the navigation and forms.

  • Your branding

I use your colours, typography and imagery consistently so the website feels part of your business.

  • Time for feedback

We agree review stages so you can raise questions and request changes as the design takes shape.

  • Readability and accessibility

I consider text size, contrast and page structure to make the content easier for people to use.

  • Clear next steps

I make it easy for visitors to see what you offer and decide what to do next, whether that’s reading more or contacting you.
